Dear Friends !
Greetings today from the spring of Vermont, with fruiting trees blossoming in a pageant here.
Many and wonderful adventures in landscape with affirmations of connection co-operation and grace since my last – most recently a well successfully dowsed and drilled last year for Dharma’s Garden (see below…) with good productivity but which proved to be too highly saline for immediate use – certified as dangerous for animal consumption – after a “jolly good blessing” – helped by the presence of Satish Kumar who joined us there for several days of celebration, sharing and teaching, and thirty other helpful assembled blessers, the salinity reduced by 66% and their sheep this spring started running past their regular water trough straight to the now blessed new well water running from hose into the creek…
Let us follow the sheep to where blessings are great and the life force abundant !
108 Miracles a day is good –
This newsletter is to share in an opportunity to support a project very close to my heart – Dharma’s Garden – a five acre, non-profit, biodynamic urban community farm and education centre in Boulder, Colorado, promoting hands in the soil growing experience and educational programmes for children and adults as well community gatherings for music and food and celebration of the seasonal cycles.
I have worked with them for a number of years on various projects, and presented multiple workshops including helping to create their lovely stone circle and bringing firewalking to their community –
The produce from their garden is shared between 150 families on a “pay what you can and take what you need” basis, with contributions anonymous from $1 – $10,000 and all sharing the abundance of collaborative engagement and participation.
Truly a model for a celebration of small local and abundant urban farming and community renewal.
In support of their project, they have created and included me in a fund-raising event set as a sweepstake donation where the winner will tour stone circles and whisky distilleries with us in late October this year –
Hoping that the tour goes well, we will plan to repeat in subsequent years for all who would like to join us,
Meanwhile this year entry is only through the sweepstake option –
Nonetheless, sharing this in the spirit of support for a very worthwhile project addressing local, regenerative, celebratory community food and festival – returning the culture into agri-culture.
Forwarding their invitation to the event below,
Do let us know if you would like to be notified of subsequent repeat tours available.
Blessings all !
Patrick
Event dates October 21st to November 4th 2026
Dear Friends of Patrick,
Patrick has long been a beloved mentor and collaborator at our 5-acre nonprofit farm, Dharma’s Garden in Boulder, Colorado. Together, we’ve shared many meaningful moments—including designing and building our very own Stone Circle. We’re reaching out with some exciting news about an upcoming trip that we are organizing with Patrick, and to share a special offer.
We just launched our Spirits & Stones Sweepstakes: a fundraiser offering one winner and a guest a 14-night guided journey through Scotland’s sacred landscapes, ancient stone circles, and finest whisky country. What makes this experience truly unique is that Patrick will accompany the winners throughout the entire trip. Whether you are drawn to Scotland’s ancient stone circles, its whisky traditions, its extraordinary landscapes, or simply to the rare opportunity to travel in Patrick’s company, this is a genuinely once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Your participation also supports Dharma’s Garden and our mission to demonstrate, educate, and inspire others to take on the noble work of tending the earth. This is a fundraising sweepstakes, which means entry is by donation and one winner is selected by random draw.
As a friend/client/student of Patrick, you can use the promo code WHISPER100 to receive double entries when you participate. Note that this is an exclusive promo code for use by Patrick’s private list only, so please don’t share this code publicly. That being said, we’d love your help in spreading the word about this sweepstakes, in general — Click HERE to enter for your chance to win! And, again, every entry supports Dharma’s Garden!
